hey there, i'm tuija

from Curious Craft Studio

I'm a lifelong learner, craft enthusiast, and proud plant & pet mom. I created Macrame Makers Club with YOU in mind, and it's my little baby that I'm thrilled to share with you!

As a Finn at heart and a world citizen at soul, my macrame adventure began as a way to keep my cool during the pandemic and boost my creativity. Little did I know, this hobby would transform into a passion for fostering a community of artists who can embrace the magic of a fulfilling creative life without the constraints of perfectionism.

I'm excited to connect with you and be your biggest cheerleader on your macrame journey! Let's unlock your creativity and make some art together.

Happy students

Thank you for all the beautiful resources you are putting together in the club and thank you for the energy and passion you put into this project. It's beautiful, it feels and it's good for the heart.

Barbara

I'm so glad I watched the tutorial before I undo my current pixel work, now I know how to add and carry cords neatly when I start again.
I'm also looking forward to making a baby bunting.

joyce

The tutorial was fantastic, thank you. I'm almost finished, just working on the tassels 🙂

Bobi

Loved the new approach to coasters. I made a larger one and had to add more than 3 new cords into later rings. Also used a latch hook to tuck in filler cord ends on the underside to be extra secure! Thank you.

Fiona

This is such a fantastic tutorial! I love how I can make the videos go slower, add subtitles, AND there are those handy bookmarks in all the videos so I can easily find the spot in each video where I left off. Brilliant. Thank you so much!!

Sara

Thanks for your great instruction and website. I really love your approach and look forward to learning a lot from you!

Janet

Dear T, your tutorial is super cool and clear.
I knew a new thingsalready BUT now that I saw and heard you pixel macramè is tattooed in my mind.
Thanks for sharing with all of us. Silvia

Silvia

The tutorials are super detailed and so easy to follow for a beginner like me. I finished my piece of art and I’m loving it. Can’t wait to buy more cord to start on the next project.

Sandra

Loved the tutorial, super easy to follow along. I used a brick red 3mm single strand cord and it turned out beautifully.

Donna

I enjoyed making the Amelie wall hanging and I'm really happy with the finished product.
I found the video tutorial very easy to follow.
Thanks.

Joyce

I have completed all of the onboarding and beginner tutorials and have begun the Pixel Letter project. I took your advice and practiced first. I made a sample this morning and after a few rows I became more confident. I look forward to working faster some time soon. Your tip for working directly from the spool is genius.
